Amazing Contacts & A Wealth of Knowledge

This morning the Mount Vernon Country Club was ceased by a host of business contractors making contact with the Intel community.  Twenty minutes prior to the 7:30AM registration opening, the venue had suits, ties,  briefcases and business cards facing-off as everyone made eye contact, shook hands and exchanged introductions.

The speakers arrived and networking energy grew greater as ODNI CAPT (ret) Hans Mumm and INSCOM speakers Mr. Jeffrey Willey and Mr. Robert Adams took the unclassified federal contracting procedures to a clear a comprehensible level.

It was definitive that small business can and should get involved with the Intelligence Contracting Community.  The companies present were highly encouraged and equipped with the knowledge to make the process a reality.

GPR Committee Tours New Fort Belvoir Hospital

What a fascinating state-of-the-art new addition to the Fort Belvoir Military Installation. The Mount Vernon-Lee Community can rest assure that the military is properly caring for our area warriors, vets and their families.

Mr. Norris gave a comprehensive tour of the facility. The Hospital Commander, COL Annicelli and CSM Dennis welcomed the Mount Vernon-Lee District Chamber of Commerce Government Procurement Relations Committee and took time to inform us of what we were about to encounter in this amazing, well thought-out, environmentally friendly and sustainable environment. They also entertained all of our questions.

By the end of the tour, the hospital and GPR Committee members had established good relations with the hospital getting the word out regarding the Nov. 18th C4C event and Committee members providing constructive feedback for a remarkable facility. Perfect case study for how contacts are formed.
